Register And Be Counted
On Saturday July 25th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., we will have a Register To Vote and Be Counted in the 2020 Census event. It will be held at the UBC Family Life Center, under the canopy. We will be practicing physical distancing. You must be at least 17 years of age, have a Social Security Number, a Louisiana ID, or Driver's License.
Tutoring
Union Baptist Church will be offering a tutoring program to assist students with school work in areas where they are having difficulties. Tutoring will begin Monday, August 21, 2017, and every Monday thereafter, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. Volunteers are needed. If you are interested, please contact Sis. Lori Cummings or Sis. Kim Harris. A sign up sheet will be available Sunday, August 13, 2017. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Union Baptist Church Annual Revival
The Revival will be held Tuesday, September 26th through Thursday, September 28th, at 7 PM each night. A meditation will be given each night at 6:50 PM, prior to each service. Each member of Union Baptist Church is asked to give $10.00 to help defray the cost of the Revival.
Circle of the Chosen
Anyone who's interested in the "Circle of the Chosen", who is aged 9 through 21, please get a form from Sis. Pearlie Guidry. The Circle of the Chosen will meet Saturday September 9th at 1pm. Parents are being asked to stay for this 1st meeting.
The Hype Zone
The Hype Zone Meet and Greet begins at 5pm on Wednesday Sept. 6th. The Hype Zone is for ages Pre-K through 12th grade.
Prayers Are Needed
Sis. Dorothy Alexander's brother, Horace, passed away. His funeral services will be Sat. Sept. 9th at 11:00 AM at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church. Sis. Annie Mae West lost two of her nephews in a car accident in Port Arthur, TX. Sis. Brenda Johnson's brother, from California, went to be with the Lord. Alexis Victorian, who is the daughter of Sis. Haley and the granddaughter of Sis. Evelyn Fontenot, was diagnosed with Lupus. She has been released from Oschner Hospital in New Orleans and is now back home. We want to continue to pray for her.

Donations Needed
The Women's Auxiliary Mission needs your assistance in purchasing the following items: toothpaste, toothbrush, lotion, shower gel, for both men & women, and deodorant and mouth wash. These are a few of the items that are given in a basket to the sick and shut in, and nursing homes. Your participation in helping us continue this ministry is greatly appreciated.
